BlackBerry 9860
There are so many new phones released at the moment, with BlackBerry coming up with a number of new devices. We want to look at the 9860 and tell you why we believe it is the best BlackBerry ever on some cheap mobile deals.
The most major difference between most BlackBerrys and the 9860 is clear to see – the 3.7in screen. This large screen is excellent for viewing footage on among having a number of other advantages. The screen displays good colours and unlike with most other BlackBerrys it is the primary place for a keyboard on the device.
We were very satisfied with the screens touch abilities and it felt accurate and strong and we had no issues with the quality of the new Liquid Display. It also was great for footage and really offers something many other Blackberries’ lack in this instance.
The phone also comes with the new 1.2GHz processor, just as do a number of other phone’s recently released by RIM, the great thing about the 1.2Ghz processor on the new phone is that the large screen allows it to shine when showing footage or playing games and it is fast and accurate unlike previous phones by RIM, while allowing a full screen experience.
The device also has the same 5mp camera many of the other new BlackBerry devices have. This is once again excellent because the big screen allows you to display photos or 720p video you have shot on the screen – this gives it that bit more of an advantage over the other smaller phones where a QWERTY keyboard takes up the phone’s fascia.
Browsing is also excellent on the phone and you get the true touch and go feel with the BlackBerry 9860 without having to squint to read text and zoom in losing out on quality. The screen gives a huge advantage to BlackBerry users in this manner.
We loved being able to scroll through all the applications on the large screen and having a full screen to play games on or rearrange certain things in our programmes. The new screen makes this all possible and is a big leap in a lot of ways on that of the older and newer BlackBerry phones alike.
The fact the QWERTY keyboard on screen is so accurate will please many and unless you really like the tactile feel of pressing down physical buttons the 9860 is probably a more suitable and versatile phone for you than other BlackBerrys.
